Vivian
She is growing like a weed and is so bright and funny. She is a little over 2 and half years old but will be moving up to the 3 year old classroom at school this month. This summer we potty trained and transitioned her to a toddler bed. It has been bitter sweet for me since she has shed all of her remaining baby things at this point (crib, changing table, diapers, etc.). She is officially a big girl/toddler and is doing great. She is really into music and dancing and loves us to tell her stories at night (in addition to reading books). We then catch her acting out the stories or telling them to her dolls which is so cool. She is taking karate and a separate gym class at school and seems to enjoy them though we can't get her to show us any of her karate moves at home. She is obsessed with wearing dresses. Luckily any long or flowy shirt is also a "dress" to her and she thinks wearing pants under them is cool, otherwise her wardrobe would be very limited. She has an amazing memory and notices so many things which means we have a harder time slipping things past her and she regularly calls us out on things we said or promised. Drat! The amount of spelling we now have to do is crazy.

Daddy
Greg is pretty much the same since January. He works too much but spends every spare moment he can with Vivi and me. I know this abbreviated update sounds like he is not important, which is really not true at all. It is just that my poor hubby pretty much works, sleep, and handles getting Vivi to and from school each day and not much else. I have been pushing him to begin looking for a new job so he can reclaim his life and enjoy himself a little more. He could use a lot of prayer!

Mommy
I graduated with my MBA last spring which was awesome. I took the summer off with little expectations of myself (thanks to the prodding of a friend to lighten up a bit) which was very nice. This fall I went back to school! Just kidding, I decided to take some continuing education classes at NYU on Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I have always been intensely interested in those programs and would like to build up my skills (and resume) for the next stage of my life. For once I am taking classes I love and it is so cool! Work is going fine with its regular ups and downs and I am excited for the cooler weather.
Overall we feel like we are in a major transition period and trying to figure out what that means for our family. I wish I could say more about it but I really don't know what God has in store for us next. We are very open to anything and we are exploring a few different options.
I wish I could say I was going to start blogging again regularly but maybe if I don't say it, it will actually happen! Ha!
